Univention UCS 3.2-3 now includes the new module “Active Directory Connection”, which replaces the older “Active Director Connector” module.
This provides two operation modes for Active Directory environments:
- parallel operation of a UCS and Active Directory domain with an automatic synchronization between the two systems;
- UCS mounted in an existing AD domain to be used, for example, as a platform for the wide range of business applications available in the Univention App Center
