New packages for LibreOffice Online are now available for public
download.
So why is this great news? Well, not only does it make LibreOffice
Online easily accessible to millions of users around the globe, it also
enables users to use a version of LibreOffice online that does not
depend on a specific (vendor provided) LibreOffice version. Instead, you
can use LibreOffice Online with the official The Document Foundation
(TDF) provided LibreOffice packages.
The public availability of LibreOffice Online is also the first puzzle piece that will be part of the Documents offering: Kopano-built packages for LibreOffice Online. The packages make it even easier to get started with online collaborative editing.
