By supporting the parallel SAP HANA backup channels feature the SEP sesam SAP HANA module delivers the necessary performance required for backup and recovery of large HANA databases.
Backup targets can be disk, tape, or cloud storage including AWS S3. SEP sesam leverages its integrated inline deduplication technology to reduce backup storage and bandwidth needs.
