The first milestone of Univention Corporate Server (UCS) 4.0 is available as DVD-ISO for 64Bit architectures.
Univention has promptly released patches for all “current” releases of UCS: 3.2, 3.1, 3.0 and 2.4.
“Shellshock” is a serious security vulnerability in the bash shell that is found in almost every UNIX and UNIX like system including Linux, Mac OS X and BSD.
For all users that prefer to test or operate UCS 3.2-3 as a virtual machine via Amazon Cloud Services, Univention have updated the AMI images.
Univention UCS 3.2-3 now includes the new module “Active Directory Connection”, which replaces the older “Active Director Connector” module.
